mama, mama life, taking care of yourself, self care, stay at home mom, stay at home mama, homeschooling mama, homeschooling mom

What if I asked you right now…Mama, are YOU taking Care of YOURSELF?? What would your answer be?? Would you right away answer with a big YES or would you look down with a sad face and say no or would you have an answer of neither yes or no and just give me a whole big excuse of why you aren’t taking of yourself??

If you could answer this question with a big YES!! Then Congratulations!! You are one of those Mamas who are setting up an example for all of us struggling mamas!! You should comment below this blog post and let us know how you are able to do so and inspire other mamas to do the same.

If you are one of those mamas who are looking down at your keyboard or phone screen with a sad face and are saying no, or have big excuses, then it’s time to start!! You can’t expect yourself to be able to raise kids and take care of your family, if you aren’t taking time to take care of yourself. Trust me I have been in this boat wayyyyyy toooo long, so I definitely understand the excuses are miles long and they include  all of the reasons why you can’t or don’t have the time, etc. And newsflash if you are making excuses of not having time, there will never be enough time!! We are all given the same amount of time in a day, but some of us are more productive and can get more done, while others aren’t and can’t, but whatever is most important you will make time for. Make taking care of yourself an important part of your life and make time for it, the results will be rewarding not just for yourself, but for your family as well, trust me I know.

I know at the beginning I asked you this important question, but I’m not that close of a person to you (most likely at least), what if the person who was asking you this question was one of your kids, if you said YES!! Would he/she believe you?? Or would he/she say “really Mama??” And if you gave a sad no, then what if your child then asked you “why not??” What would your response be to them?? Remember you can’t expect yourself to be able to take care of others, if you can’t take care of yourself!!

If you enjoyed this post and are ready to finally start taking care of yourself again, then Check out my next post that gets into the details of how to take care yourself!!
